We were brought to a small local ranch (they had several horses out in the pasture and a few horses were saddled up and ready for us). We were given basic instructions for riding, but the horses are so well behaved, they knew which way to follow. We rode into the forest, up some hills, great views over Cusco and nearby ruins.
